AI Shares Updates on Latest Federal and State Appraisal Bias Legislation
Associations and companies across America, including the Appraisal Institute, have been taking a hard look at what they’re doing related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and many have determined they need to do more. The Appraisal Institute has been amplifying and accelerating internal initiatives and partnerships to bring about positive change, including advocating for our organization’s membership, and the valuation profession as a whole. In this video, you’ll hear from: 1. Bill Garber, Appraisal Institute director of government and external relations; 2. Byron Miller, SRA, AI-RRS, a member of the Appraisal Institute’s Government Relations Committee, who played an important role in the passage of appraisal-related legislation in Minnesota; and 3. Scott Dibiasio, Appraisal Institute manager of state and industry affairs.
