The North Star Chapter of the Appraisal Institute sponsored on-site campus fair at St. Cloud State University

The North Star Chapter of the Appraisal Institute sponsored an on-site campus fair at St. Cloud State University on September 22nd.  The event has drawn over 500 students in years past; however, low campus presence affected 2021 registration, with only approximately 150 students attending this year’s Career Day.  Even so, we made the best with what we had!  Andrew Totzke represented NSCAI at the event and directly spoke with over a dozen students who were interested in real estate and the appraisal profession.

St. Cloud State University is one of the few schools in the region to offer real estate majors, and college courses that count toward pre-licensure education.  The University is currently approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for 60 hours of pre-license education for appraisal, and is currently working on a partnership with Appraisal Institute to use AI course materials in their curriculum.
