Call for Nominations
2020 Chapter Board Nominations Due June 30th
North Star Chapter Designated Members and Candidates for Designation:
The North Star Chapter is looking for motivated and energetic volunteers to help us reach our goals. The Chapter Nominating Committee will be meeting in the next few weeks to review nominations submitted for Chapter Treasurer, Board Members, and Regional Representatives for 2020.
Open positions in 2020 include:
- Treasurer: The nominee usually accepts this position with the idea of automatic succession from Treasurer to Secretary, Vice President, and President.
- Directors (4 vacancies): Nominees accept this position with the idea of serving a three-year term.
- Region III Representative (3 vacancies for a two-year term): Region III meetings are held four times a year. They traditionally meet one or two times in person, with the other meetings held via teleconference. This is a great opportunity to help direct the major policy decisions being considered by Appraisal Institute national leadership.
- Regional Alternates (1-2 opportunities): A Regional Alternate fills in for a Regional Representative unable to attend a Region III Committee meeting. Regional Alternates are invited to listen in on all conference calls.
If you are interested in being considered for any of these positions, please download and complete the nomination form, and return via email (info@northstarai.org) or fax to 651-317-8048. You may also nominate a qualified candidate other than yourself, but please obtain their permission prior to submitting their nomination. Nominations must be submitted by midnight on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
